Love is in the air!

Valentines is coming quick and you've got to check these out! My sis in law, Tiffany (8 years later it still seems ironic that two brothers would marry Tiffany's) is selling these adorable things on Etsy. It is a VERY WORTHY CAUSE, which you can read all about here on her blog and visit her Etsy store.
Deano is definitely going to 'sport' this bow tie on Valentines!
Tiffany has been sending Brielle her adorable hair things for years...this one is one of my favorites!

P.S. If you like this stuff and think your friends would like it...PLEASE feel free to post these pic's and links on your blog or email it to your friends.

***Order quick...you only have until the 29th***

Roller rink FHE!

Brielle got a pair of roller skates for Christmas...it was the best $15 I've ever spent (they were on clearance...notice they are blue--they were boy's skates but I replaced the laces with pink)! She's been skating at home (on the carpet) for years...she had NO IDEA there was an actual place you could go to skate! She's already asked if we can go back tomorrow and have her birthday party there!
Dean was SO excited to go skating too! He's been wearing Bri's old pink princess shoe skates since she got her new pair of ''real skates," so he was excited to wear "real skates" too.
It seems like NOTHING has changed at Classic Skating in the last 2o years...back when it was one of my favorite places! Chris and I both felt like we were going to kill ourselves when we first put on our skates! It's been at least 10 years for me, but by the time we left we'd started to get our moves back!
Of course Dean had to check out the arcade rides & games!

These boots are made for...

I love both of these pic's taken of Deano lately! Are those the cutest leg's you've every seen?!?! This pic was taken one snowy morning when Chris mentioned he needed to go out and shovel the driveway...next thing I knew he'd gotten himself 'ready' to go out!

Welcome 2010

One of my 'New Years Resolutions' is to take more pictures of Chris & I together and with our kiddo's! I'm always amazed how few pictures there are of us and this holiday season I really dropped the ball...I hardly took any pictures of anyone!
Chris & I went to a dinner Party at the Losee's and our kids had a babysitter with their best buddies (Cash & Gracie)...this is what we found in front of the TV when we came home (yes, dean is shirtless...).
I love this pic of my parents...it's a crack up! Bob & DiNat & Ty

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas...unfortunately I hardly took any pictures! Dean loved his 'western set'...maybe he'll grow up to be a cowboy! Brielle's favorite present from Santa was a pair of "real" roller skate's (I'm sure they are doing wonder's for our carpet)! We opened lot's & lot's of presents at home...then, we went to Nana's & Bobpa's and opened MORE...The highlight of Dean's Christmas was the "B.Y.woow" outfit he got from nana! He wore it all day Christmas, and wears it at least once a day still! It is CRAZY how 'into' sports he is! He love's balls & baskets & bats! He loves watching himself open presents (on the video camera)! Happy Birthday Nat Snat! Our Christmas celebrations always include celebrating Nat's birthday...this year we through in Santa Lucia, Star Boy & a French Bouche de Noel!

These are the cutest little swedes ever!

We did something different for dinner...we had Raclette & Fondu. It was delicious & so much fun!

Christmas Eve

Gingerbread Girls

The closest thing Brielle has to a little sister is her favorite little Buddy Gracie! She was SO excited one night when they had matching Gingerbread nightgowns!I had to include this pic. of Dean...the night before he hit his head on something (for the billionth time), and had this giant goose egg between his eyes...yet, he's still smiling! One of Brielle's dance performances was at The Gingerbread Festival. These were the most amazing Gingerbread houses I have ever seen!

Polar Express

We had so much fun on The Polar Express with our friends the Lundquist's!

Brielle told me a couple of days later that this was not the real Santa because she noticed his beard kept falling down...so sad!

Brielle loved playing with the Elves. They even brought her up to sing "Rudolph" to the whole train car!

Hot Cocoa & Cookies!

Mitch & Chris sat in the back ''complaining'' most of the time at how LONG the whole event was!

We loved having Mitch, Linds, Micah & Jade come stay with us and we especially loved our ride on The Polar Express! The kids had such a great time...even if it was not the real Santa!

Christmas Concerts

Brielle's dance group performed at 5 or 6 different places over the holidays...everywhere from The Festival of Tree's to Elderly Care Center's. (above: back row, middle -- in between the tree (left) and candy cane. below: far right of the trio) (above: front row, second from the end on the right -- flopping reindeer ears. below: center, front)
She also had a performance at school. She was an angel, of course (her little face is right above the bald man's head in the center). All of the pictures I took were horrible, but I wanted to include this pic. because it is crazy that she's almost a head taller than the girl next to her (right) and nearly 2 heads taller than the girl to the left...yet she is the youngest one in her class! Needless to say she is the tallest in her class.

Thanksgiving

This is my Aunt Joy -- she is actually the wife of my grandfather's brother! When I was growing up she hosted Thanksgiving for the Gledhill's ever year for over a hundred people! Every person had a seat at a table with real china and a piece of jello! It was a HUGE undertaking but I have wonderful memories! It has been years since we had Thanksgiving with Aunt Joy, but this year her daughter in law hosted a Thanksgiving dinner in honor of Aunt Joy & Uncle Dave.

We had our friends the Lundquist's in town the week of Thanksgiving. We loved having them and can't wait until they come back next year to see us again!
