We had such a great Thanksgiving with my parents today! The kids and I went over in the morning to start the feast with my mom, while Chris and my dad both went on bike rides. We were a small little group--my parents and us! but we had food for an army and it was delicious!
Brielle LOVED helping Nana make the pies and do the dishes! She was such a big help!
This is Dean's favorite spot...behind the dog gate! He loves to shut himself in here and have free run of the pantry, dog beds and doggy door! He sticks EVERYTHING out the doggy door that will fit--he tries at least once a day to stick his favorite toy...the broom...out the 8'' doggie door! I love that he is sitting in Gigi's bed!
Chris felt extra special because he got a drumstick...there wasn't much competition!

Dean found a stool in front of the sink--and he really hit the jackpot when he found a big pot of water in the sink...Splish Splash!
Nana busted out the Wii Fit after dinner and we all had a great time! The best part was doing our body/balance analysis--it confirmed what we all know--I have NO BALANCE! After the balance test it asked 'do you trip or fall a lot?' are you kidding me? Now there are video games that can tell that I am a klutz! Notice that Dean had to have a box to stand on because Brielle was on the wii fit platform!
I have so much to be grateful for, it almost does not seem fair! I love my little family! I don't know what I would do without the three of them! It was such a nice day, I'm grateful we got to spend it with my parents...the only thing missing was more of our families! We miss you all!

The planning,preparing and playing was great. The only way it could have been better...Nat&Ty with us and not getting age 75 on Wii Fit.

We missed you all this thanksgiving.. I want to know if your mom cooked the turkey our "special" way... UPSIDE DOWN!! HaHa!! We missed all the fab food.. my kids missed the constant flowing hot coco.. our crazy shopping trips..midnight eats at Dennys..their toothless employees.. and all the other fun memories that come along with any holiday we share with you! love you
