Brielle had her 5th birthday party at the beginning of August. She decided on a 'Fancy French Pink Poodle Party!'
We made dog ears for each of the kiddo's before the party, then had them decorate dog collars & paw bracelets.
Some of the kids LOVED wearing their 'dog stuff,' others were not interested at all...but they all liked the doggy relay race game...where they had to carry chew toys in their mouths and crawl around.
Then, it was time for a little snack...dog food for kids...the ALL loved eating with no hands!
Aunt Linda, Grace & Dean. It was so much fun having Aunt Linda here for the party. Brielle still thinks she came to town just for her party!
I'm really proud of my cute pink polka dot cake....I love it when you're proud of something that you were worried about turning out--my mom's Eiffel Tower salt/pepper shaker and the mini oreo's were perfect!

Sooo cute! I am so sad I missed the party but it turned out darling. Love all the cute ideas, you're such a great Mom. Brielle is getting so big, it's only been 5 or 6 weeks but she seems bigger already and Dean too. I can't stand how precious he is. Love them and you!
xoxo
P.S. I am bummed I can't blow any of the photos up...what did you do?
I don't know why you can't blow them up?! Usually it is because I've 'edited' them (red eye or crop) but I did not do that to most of them...so I don't know?!
What a lovely party!! You do such a good job celebrating Brielle's birthdays!! It seems so organized and well thought out. The cake and everything else are beautiful. I am glad Brielle felt personally honored that aunt Linda was there. You all look so wonderful!
so so so fun!!!! she can think I came just for her birthday, it's not far from the truth!
What marvelous pics of Brielle's 5th Birthday! Yes I am sad I can't blow them up either... Maybe you resized them? Did Brielle receive our card? She seems as Nat says, to have grown so fast since I saw her and Dean too! I love the cake you made, I brought back a packet of those delicious mini Oreos and they're nearly all gone now, no time to use them on a cake... The last pic is so cute! Lots of love and bisous to all.
I loved the party especially because it reminded me of a party you had. But I think Brielle wins the Miss Photogenic award.
p.s. I would have loved to see the look on the kids Mom's faces when they told them that they ate out of the doggie bowls.
