Here's a little taste of the latest and greatest at our house this week...
Baby Dean is getting cuter and cuter by the minute! He got his first two teeth this week and he is dying to start crawling...oh goodie, I can't wait!
Spring Ballet Recital!
You would NOT believe the hoopla that surrounded this recital!
Brielle's class was 'act no. 19', in the first half of the recital...it started at 7 and the first half ended at about 8:30! Are you kidding me? Luckily we were able to leave at intermission...but imagine if she'd have been in the second half! My neighbor stayed to the end and she said it ended at almost 11pm! I will not even go into the fact that we had to be there an hour early to get in line to get seats (the
high school auditorium was full by 6:45...and it is a huge
auditorium!) or the fact that she had 'extra' rehearsals 4 times the week before the performance...she's only 3! However, she does look adorable in her costume and she was SO cute on stage!
My amazing husband is almost done....he did the entire hardwood floor in one day...all by himself!
After church today I gave baby Dean a bottle while I went to help
Brielle change her clothes, when I came back this is what I found...church is exhausting!

Wow! It sounds like Brielle is part of a very big production! It is nice that she is starting early, because NOW Amanda wants to start up again, but most groups her age would like them to have two or three years experience and she has had a five year break! Keep it up! It is a great thing for her to be part of as she is growing up! Sounds like quite an undertake! Extra rehearsals, and tons of numbers and a rush to get a seat...but well worth the effort in the long run, on behlf of Brielle. I could not access the last picture. Did someone fall asleep??
Wow Brielle looks like a real STAR! She is so cute in her dress (with the beautiful bouquet) and I love to see your mom and dad too! Dean is so cute and growing so fast! It's a pity though we can't click on these pics to enlarge them, we could before, did you change anything then on your blog?
That picture of baby Dean is so stinkin' cute! Your kids are adorable! And I can't believe all the projects your hubby does, he's amazing!
i love that brielle gets to do all that!! It also sounds like people out there need to balance the dance recital night--maybe two weekends?!?
the house looks amazing! and dean is adorable. That's how I feel after church sometimes too.
Oh, I love that. Brielle is so beautiful... you all are. I wish I could come over and watch the video of her recital!
The dining room looks great. Chris works so fast.
There he is!! Baby Dean, all tired out. Yes, he is adorable and sweet. I am tired also, when I come home from church. The diningroom will be a wonderful addition to your home. It is going to be such a big kitchen! I think you will simply love it! Chris really knows how to make a house into a functional home!
please tell me she's dancing with colleen collin smith. that is the only dance company that i have ever heard of with recitals that long!!
